My seat belt goes on before I move now.
Can anyone remember the "bloke" who used to say clunk click every trip?
Yes it was Jimmy Saville

I wear my seat belt - it became habit forming ages ago so it comes natural to me now.

Putting your seat belt on comes under statute law.
If you don't wear your seat belt you know you will get stopped and you also know you will get a penalty.
There is no way around it.
Of course if you are not bound by statute law, then these rules don't apply to you and you don't need to wear a seat belt.
However, I have yet to meet anyone who is not governed by the statute laws
If anyone is totally free from the rules in the statute book I would like to know how they done it.

Very true.
But do you have to comply with all statute law?

There are many others on clunk click.
I use my seat belt all the time.
