Summoned To Court For Being Too Big For Your Car

When you register your car are you aware that you are giving it away? Moreover, do you know the difference between travelling and driving? Then there is the road traffic act. So, discuss all the injustices to do with travel and cars etc.

Summoned To Court For Being Too Big For Your Car

If you think a car is just a car and you can just get in and drive any, you may need to read on.

A man was arrested and summoned to court for distraction other motorists while driving through the streets of Newcastle, UK.

Apparently, Adam Elliott was driving on business in a Ford StreetKa convertible car - he was delivering the car to a customer.
We all know them cars are small and Elliott is six feet seven inches.
He had to drive it with the top down otherwise he wouldn't have fitted in the car.

Elliott is now asking on social media for a suitable solicitor who deals with driving offences as he was charged with careless driving.

Here is a picture of the lanky driver in the "offending" car:

As long as the bloke could see clearly then the police have no business to stop him.
The coppers are saying that he was distracting other motorists :?
You could use that for anything, a horse on the road, someone walking their dog, a gorgeous lass with a short skirt on or even a Panda Car the list is endless for possible distractions.
I can only see that it was his vision rather than him distraction people.

He does look ridiculous in that car though, you must admit.
Its not surprising people would be looking but whether they should look or not is another matter.
I think as usual the career police have stepped in.
If people take their eyes off the road it should be them the ones that are summonsed.

You could say that
But really it was for causing a distraction to other drivers.
