The Olympics 2016

Post by Freeman Bob »

The Olympics 2016

After one week Great Britain are not doing too bad being second in the medals table
As it stands its USA on 26 Gold, Great Britain on 15 then China on 15 but we have three more silver than China.
Plenty of time to go but we do have 38 medals in total :drink-buddy:
Even if we didn't win another medal, the UK have done really well but apparently we have another guaranteed gold soon.

Usain Bolt won again last night in the 100 metres sprint.
He had a slow start and I thought he duffed things but he steamed through under 10 seconds again.

We did and Jason Kenny and his partner have got 10 gold between them.
Jason's race was really exciting with the two false starts.
Keep the bastards honest.

Team GB got Gold and silver with Alistair Brownlee and his brother Jonny.
They got first and second place respectfully and Alistair just walked over the line at the end he was so far in front
That's 22 gold medals for Great Britain so far

Great Olympic games played in Rio.
Shame that those in the favelas had to just watch as the relatively rich people were lavishly living things up so close.
Its not surprising that there was a big thing in Brazil about the cost of the games.

Team GB came back yesterday - such talent!
Well done to all the British competitors.
