De-registering Vehicle - Driving With No Number Plates
Police stop a vehicle and asks the driver/traveller why there are no number plates showing.
The traveller says he has de-registered the vehicle and there is also no tax on it.
The police or policy men allow the vehicle to leave.
I am presuming that the vehicle now is classed as a private conveyance for the purposes of travelling rather than driving.
Driving involves using the vehicle for some sort of reward.
Does anyone know how easy it is to de-register a vehicle?

The police don't know the law and so when confronted with it they don't know how to react in case they get into trouble.Crab wrote:The copper had no time for all that lol

If the police did nothing then they either don't know the law or were too bothered about the unknown
