Meningitis B vaccine to come soon

There is a petition with over 700,000 signatures to get all children vaccinated for Meningitis B.
Right now the bosses say it would cost too much.
I think with the way the media is pushing on this subject its just a matter of time before they will be offering this injection to all kids.

Why now?
Meningitis has been around forever.
If we vaccinate everyone for every little thing then it would be pointless having an immune system.

True, but there are hundreds of kids who die from Meningitis B which kills in hours.
Those that survive can have all sorts of complications like brain damage etc.
Thousands get the illness each year.
I am a bit divided on this one because the devastation caused to families when the kid gets it can be terrible.
Since its the people who want the children vaccinated and not the government I am slightly in favour of it.

If meningitis is one of the biggest killers to children then why are they still not considering it

Judging by the amount of kids that contract the illness and die from it then cost shouldn't matter.

If we can prevent children dying from Meningitis B then we should implement a country-wide vaccination campaign.

As stated, its all down to money.

I think on the balance of it we should vaccinate the children against Meningitis B.
Far too many children are suffering at the hands of this disease.

I think I have been persuaded and have signed the petition.
After looking into the way the kids suffer from meningitis and considering that it is a big killer its only right that we can help out by pressurising the health services.
