Blocking speed cameras

Blocking speed cameras

A car user blocked a speed camera with his BMW by parking up and lifting the boot up.
Chris Welford, aged 23 blocked off the camera in Cleveland in the north east of England.
He claims he has become a hero.
The thing is, all he was doing was parking up.
Where is the law to say that you can't park in a safe manner like this

I couldn't find a video of the one in Cleveland but I found another from South Yorkshire.
This car user shows how to get rid of the speed cameras

It's legal to block the cameras.
Just be careful what you do and how you do it.

The speed cameras can park up for commercial gain, wouldn't this be stopping commerce which is wrong?
If you can park in front of one legally with a van that might be different but to deliberately put the boot lid of a car up?
Good stuff though.
