Paying Tax To HM Government is both Illegal and Unlawful
I read an article about this last year.
This applies to British people but possibly people from other countries too.
When HM Government sent in the Armed Forces to invade Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya they done so without any legal authority. The British government acted unlawfully and the UN have recognised that because they did not give any mandate, the British government acted unlawfully. In other words a crime has clearly been committed by the British government.
Kofi Annan, the former Secretary-General of the United Nations have already stated he has reasonable cause to suspect the Iraq war is unlawful and illegal. That is all you need - reasonable cause to suspect a crime has been committed and how the crime has been funded. You have the backing of Kofi Annan and many other people - do some research for others.
Innocent men, women and children were killed and many of these were put down to the actions of the armed British troops.
There were approximately 1.5 million people killed in this thoroughly disgusting act.
These were crimes against humanity and cannot be justified - terrorism on a scale that most western countries have not seen in recent times.
In law, if you knowingly fund criminal activity, you are also committing a crime by association. You become an accessory. By paying taxes you are funding a government who have committed crimes against humanity. So, not only is it illegal to pay taxes, it is also immoral. All that you need to understand is that if you reasonably suspect that taxes you pay, are, or even may be used to fund their criminal acts above, you are aiding and abetting criminal activities.
Now, armed with the facts, you now know that you could be committing a crime by paying taxes. How you go about withholding taxes is a different matter. It needs careful thought because you just cannot stop paying taxes whether or not you agree it is illegal or unlawful to do so.
There are a few people who have took time out to stop paying taxes such as Hannah Rose and maybe she is on the right lines:
